Project update: DONE!

It only seems fitting to start the new year with a brand new workstation, right?

There are a few minor tweaks yet, like adding feet, and....oh....yeah....that new vise that still hasn't arrived--but by and large, here is the finished product!

It's not perfect, but not too damn bad for a couple of afternoon's of work (especially considering my Jr. High School woodworking skills) and about $35 in materials.  Most importantly: I couldn't be happier with the way it came out.

Here's to new beginnings in 13'.  I hope all of you have a great New Year, and get to spend as much time on the water as you wish.

Til later,

  1. That looks pretty cool! Thanks for showing the project.

  2. Thanks SY! Means a lot, cause I gotta say: your flies are...well....FLY.

  3. Anonymous1/01/2013

Very nice Mr MacLoosh! Looking forward to fishing with some of your files!
    BikeOne Moline!

  4. You're on Randy! But I think a couple of outings are in order...one for bass, and then I'll introduce you to some SICK trout water!

By the way, for those who don't know: BikeOne in Moline Illinois is not just a bicycle shop, it is THE bike shop.

    Go there:
